Start with easy fiction books and novellas. it will create your interest in reading and you will grow a taste for it. After reading 4 or 5 novellas, move to bestseller nonfiction books based on spirituality. The human body is meant to move or to work. Any type moderate exercise done regularly increases your lifetime and provides you freshness and clarity of mind and body. You can either get a gym membership or start cycling as long as the exercise you choose fits your daily routine and you love to do it. CrossFit is a good one to go.
By socializing I don’t mean checking your phone every 2 minutes to find a reply from your crush. Or having 330 friends on Facebook by posting photoshopped pictures. Socializing includes attending workshops or club meetups related to your hobbies and passion. This will give you a platform to be with like-minded people and you will have a room to improve In your life. This will get you exposed to the outside world which greatly helps no matter what you do or who you are.
You all must be doing this already I guess. But are you improving? Lets put it this way, the amount of sleep is not the only factor that matters, you also need to have the time you sleep, the way you sleep and other factors in check. Of course sleeping at 3 am and waking up at 2 pm gets you ample of sleep time, but it is more than harmful because your body is not meant to practice it. The ideal time to sleep is 9:30 pm and wake up at 4:30 pm. And most scientific posture to sleep is by laying on left side.
5.MEDITATE
We strive to improve mentally and physically but we forget that we have a soul too. Not going to argue its existence, it plays a major role in life and should not be ignored. That’s where mediation comes in. there are many ways to do it but most suitable way is to do it in morning. Just after getting out of bed, lay a mat on the floor and sit on it cross legged. picture given above can be a reference. Close your eyes and let go of any thoughts. Don’t stop thinking but closely monitor your mind. This can be done for 5 minutes. This is a proven way to improve oneself and bring calmness in life.
