Grades low, why depressed? The dark side of Educational System

The dark side of Educational System
In today’s fast-changing world, everything from a pen to the plane has changed. Surprisingly, our traditional education System is not included in that. This factory production-oriented system measures potential of  students through results of single examination in a year which forces them to memorize same things over and over while this world demands innovative ideas if you are here to hit a big blow.

The dark side of Educational SystemThe stress and pressure of the rubbish competitive entrance exams just ruin the life of a carefree child. I know, that universities have limited seats but, is this a way to enroll students like a dumb robot? Just making them learn the same concepts over and over, most of which, will never be applied in real life. I have personally watched students studying from 8 to 12 hours a day, not focusing on other skills, not devoting time to do extraordinary stuff, not participating in sports; in nutshell not enjoying life. Life seems to them a burden rather than a gift.

The funniest thing is that, after converting students into robots, society expect innovation and creativity from them. This is ridiculous, and when they are not able to discover or invent we curse them only. This builds a community of graduated unemployed.

The dark side of Educational System

While Young students are facing issues like depression, anxiety and stress our government is busy in banning online games which, according to them affect their studies. In that case, you should ban studies because they are causing suicides.

Analysis of evidence heard at inquests, shows that 63 (43%) of the 145 suicides among those aged under 20 in 2014-15 were experiencing academic pressures of different sorts before their death. Almost one in three – 46 (32%) – had exams at the time, or coming up soon, or were waiting for exam results.

If any student is reading this then my message for him/her is not to worry about exams and results. These foolish institutions or exams have no right to judge you. You are simply awesome in your own league. Be full of life and make your dreams come true. Most of the people have achieved their goals by not following this standard Dogma.
